The Cincinnati Bengals like what they’ve seen from Dax Hill as he completes the comeback from a torn ACL suffered last season.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said during a presser this week that Hill is fully good to go for Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns on September 7.
Hill, a first-round pick in 2022, appeared in five games last year before the serious injury.

Good news for the Bengals and Hill, as he gets to pursue what looks like yet another position change on the fourth year of his rookie contract. The Bengals picked up his fifth-year option earlier this offseason.
Hill shifted away from safety and showed some promise at boundary corner last year before his injury. Now, it seems he’s kicking back inside to primarily play cornerback there while names like Cam Taylor-Britt play the boundary under new coordinator Al Golden.
To say it’s a critical season for Hill and the entire defense as a whole would be an understatement, so his rehab journey coming to a positive close is a good start.
