The Cincinnati Bengals and Hamilton County have reached an agreement to keep the team at Paycor Stadium into the mid-2030s.

After running up close to the lease expiration deadline at the end of this month, the team and county agreed on a new lease, set to be confirmed by vote at a later date.
According to Erin Glynn and Quinlan Bentley of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the new agreement is a 10-year pact, again with options for five two-year extensions, if necessary. The improvements will peak at $470 million, scaled back from $830 million, while the county will contribute $350 million and the team $120 million.

The Bengals, of course, were never going anywhere despite the public posturing and leverage plays from both parties. Had the negotiations stalled and hit the deadline this month, the team could have exercised multiple-year extensions while continuing to work on a new lease.
