Badin High School’s brand new athletic complex will be opening just in time for the school’s 60th year of education.
The Matandy Sports-Plex at Badin High School will give the Rams their first on-campus football stadium in school history. The complex will host Terry Malone Field in Lanni Family Stadium and will allow the Rams to host home football and soccer games in the fall.
Badin’s soccer programs will break in the new fields on Aug. 15 with a boys and girls doubleheader. The Badin girls will host Summit Country Day at 5 p.m. that day with the boys hosting Elder after. The first home football game at the stadium is scheduled for Sept. 5 against Edgewood.
Before the fall, Badin will host a ribbon cutting and open house at the facility from 6-9 p.m. on June 6.
