The beer of the summer just got a fresh new companion.
After rereleasing its popular Busch Light Apple last month, Anheuser-Busch has announced a new fruit flavor to be sold in 25 states, including Ohio — Busch Light Lime.
“We’re kicking off this summer with our second seasonal drop so our fans can enjoy camping and post hikes with their favorite cold, smooth beer in hand,” Krystyn Stowe, head of marketing for Busch Family & Natural Family at Anheuser-Busch, said in a prepared statement. “Between Busch Light Lime’s debut and the return of Busch Light Apple, 2025 is the summer of flavor, and our fans love our fruit-forward flavored beers. Listening to our fans and bringing them the innovations they want is our top priority.”
The new flavor will be sold in 12-packs, 24-packs and 30-packs of the standard 12-ounce cans. The company said the new flavor is available now in select markets. Here’s what to know.
What does Busch Light Lime taste like?
The company — which operates a production brewery in Columbus — said the new Busch Light Lime combines notes of sweet lime flavors on the front end with clean beer finish.
“As lime is a familiar and welcoming flavor, having a distinct tart and zesty profile that’s known to be refreshing and ideal to enjoy in hot weather, the brand is offering fans another fruit-forward flavored lager to enjoy as they embark on their next outdoor adventure this summer,” Anheuser-Busch said in a prepared statement.
When was the last time Busch Light Apple was on the shelves?
Before this summer, Busch Light Apple fans had a long drought. The last time the popular beer was in stores was in 2022.
“Since its launch in May, Busch Light Apple is the No. 1 fastest-growing brand in the beer industry having gained 0.81 share in the last four weeks, cementing its status as one of the ultimate summer beers,” Anheuser-Busch said in a prepared statement.
How long will Busch Light Lime be available?
Much like Busch Light Apple, Anheuser-Busch said the new lime flavor will be available only while supplies last.
“It’s only here for a squeeze of time, so make sure you grab Busch Light Lime while it’s ripe and ready!” the company said.
