There were seven people shot in three shootings in Cincinnati this weekend bringing the total number of people shot in the city to at least 94.
None of the shootings on June 5 and June 6 weren’t fatal, according to Cincinnati Police Department spokesperson Brad Underwood.
One person was shot Friday in Evanston. On Saturday three people were shot near Eden Park and another three were shot in Avondale, Underwood said. Friday’s shooting was the first of the year in Evanston.
Last year from Jan. 1 to July 8, there were 113 people shot in the city. That means shootings are down about 17%. 2025 saw a historically low number of shootings.
