38-year-old woman dies in Clermont County after Harley Davidson crash

A 38-year-old Batavia woman died after a motorcycle crash, officials said.

Emily Koeppe was heading south on U.S. 50 on April 2, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Her motorcycle overturned near milepost 8 in Stonelick Township just after 10 p.m.

Koeppe died while waiting for an airlift to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, according to an April 3 release.

Officials said her 2013 Harley Davidson overturned when it failed to negotiate a curve and then struck a guardrail after her crash. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation..
