18 boys, girls high school teams reach district finals. Here's where, when each plays

The girls and boys high school soccer postseason is getting clearer every day.

There are just five rounds left, and Greater Akron is busting at the seams with championship hopefuls.

There will be 18 area teams playing in district finals on Oct. 25. Here’s the who, what and when for all Greater Akron teams:

OHSAA Division I girls soccer playoffs

What: Northeast 5 district final

Matchup: No. 3 Walsh Jesuit vs. No. 12 Berea-Midpark

Where/when: North Ridgeville High School, 4 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 1 champion, either No. 1 Perrysburg (13-1-2) or No. 10 Brunswick (6-8-3), at North Royalton High School on Tuesday, Oct. 28

OHSAA Division II boys soccer playoffs

What: Northeast 2 district final

Matchup: No. 5 Twinsburg (12-3-2) vs. No. 8 Solon (11-5-1)

Where/when: Kenston High School, 11 a.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 4 champion, either No. 4 Hudson (11-4-2) or No. 10 Shaker Heights (11-5-2), at Niles McKinley High School on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

What: Northeast 3 district final

Matchup: No. 6 Walsh Jesuit (13-2-4) vs. No. 17 Stow (8-7-3)

Where/when: Byers Field in Parma, 4 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 5 champion, either No. 1 Avon (12-2-3) or No. 19 North Ridgeville (8-6-3), at Tallmadge High School on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

What: Northeast 4 district final

Matchup: No. 4 Hudson (11-4-2) vs. No. 10 Shaker Heights (11-5-2)

Where/when: Chagrin Falls High School, 7 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 2 champion, either No. 5 Twinsburg (12-3-2) or No. 8 Solon (11-5-1), at Niles McKinley High School on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

What: Northeast 6 district final

Matchup: No. 3 Brecksville vs. No. 9 Wadsworth

Where/when: Copley, 4 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 7 champion, either No. 7 North Royalton (11-3-3) or No. 11 North Canton Hoover (9-3-5), at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

OHSAA Division II girls soccer playoffs

What: Northeast 1 district final

Matchup: No. 4 Twinsburg (14-1-2) vs. No. 12 North Ridgeville (11-3-3)

Where/when: Warren Harding, 2 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 7 champion, either No. 6 Brecksville or No. 9 Olmsted Falls, at Tallmadge High School on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

What: Northeast 2 district final

Matchup: No. 5 Avon (12-4-2) vs. No. 13 Green (7-8-3)

Where/when: Eastlake High School, 2 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 5 champion, either No. 2 North Royalton (13-1-2) or No. 10 Solon (11-4-1), at Medina High School on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

What: Northeast 3 district final

Matchup: No. 3 Highland (16-1-2) vs. No. 11 Perry (13-3-1)

Where/when: Strongsville High School, 2 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Central 3 champion, either No. 3 Sunbury Big Walnut (11-3-3) or No. 8 Worthington Kilbourne (7-9-2), at Shelby High School on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

What: Northeast 6 district final

Matchup: No. 1 Hudson (15-0-1) vs. No. 14 Kent Roosevelt (10-5-3)

Where/when: Rocky River High School, 4 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 4 champion, either No. 7 Mayfield (13-2-3) or No. 8 Amherst (11-4-3), at St. Vincent-St. Mary on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

What: Northeast 2

Matchup: No. 7 CVCA (13-2-2) vs. No. 8 Padua (13-2-4)

Where/when: Ravenna High School, 4 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 6 champion, either No. 2 Howland (17-1-1) or No. 10 University School (9-7-1), at North Royalton High School on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

What: Northeast 3 district final

Matchup: No. 3 Canfield (14-2) vs. No. 15 North (12-2-4)

Where/when: Byers Field in Parma, 10 a.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 5 champion, either No. 1 Aurora (15-1-3) or No. 17 Hoban (9-8-2), at Twinsburg High School on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

What: Northeast 4 district final

Matchup: No. 6 Revere vs. No. 5 Westlake

Where/when: Mayfield High School, 7 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays Northeast 1 champion, either Hawken (15-1-2) or No. 9 Marlington (14-1-4), at Streetsboro High School on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

What: Northeast 5 district final

Matchup: No. 1 Aurora (15-1-3) vs. No. 17 Hoban (9-8-2)

Where/when: Byers Field in Parma, 1 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 3 champion, either No. 3 Canfield (14-2) or No. 15 North (12-2-4), at Twinsburg High School on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

What: Northeast 5 final

Matchup: No. 1 Hoban (14-2-1) vs. No. 9 Hathaway Brown (10-8)

Where/when: Nordonia High School, 5 p.m.

Who’s next: The winner plays the Northeast 1 champion, either No. 6 Buckeye (12-2-3) or No. 12 Canfield (12-6), at Nordonia High School on Tuesday, Oct. 28.
