Three candidates are running uncontested to keep their seats in the village of Oakfield, likely making for a sleepy Election Day March 18. The ballot includes the mayor’s post and two village trustee seats.
Oakfield is a village in Genesee County, with a population of 1,659, according to the 2024 American Community Survey by the U.S. Census Bureau.
Polls are open for regular voting between noon and 9 p.m. on Election Day ― Wednesday, March 18 ― at the Village Board Room, 39 Main St.

Who’s running for Village of Oakfield mayor?
David Boyle is up for his third term as village mayor. He was first elected mayor in 2018 and previously served on the board of trustees.
The mayor serves a four-year term and the current salary is $9,563.
Who’s running for Village of Oakfield trustee?
Trustee incumbents Michael Cianfrini and Scott D’Alba are also up for another term, and are running uncontested. Trustees serve a four-year term and the current salary is $3,158.
