Who was the surprise player of spring practices for the Bills?

The Buffalo Bills had a no come out of virtually no where during 2026 spring practices.

Well, not exactly no where, he arrived in Buffalo via the NFL draft. But because the Bills selected him in the fourth-round, the TCU product has played well during OTAs and minicamp.

During those same periods, Elarms-Orr those strong efforts might’ve helped the rookie set the bar high for himself in 2026 as he proclaimed he wants to “be a starter Week 1” of this season.

Regardless, Elarms-Orr stood out enough to be named Buffalo’s “surprise player” of the offseason so far by ESPN.

Elarms-Orr had an opportunity this offseason and took advantage of it. Linebacker Dorian Williams wasn’t on the field during OTAs and minicamp due to an unspecified lower-body injury. With the increased snaps, Elarms-Orr made an impression in the battle for the open inside linebacker job next to Terrel Bernard.

“He’s doing everything we’re asking him right now,” defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard said of Elarms-Orr in May.
