When healthy, Giants' Malik Nabers has dominated in the fourth quarter

Malik Nabers is a difference-maker down the stretch for the New York Giants.

NFL analyst Tony Holzman-Escareno notes that Nabers averages the most fourth-quarter scrimmage yards per game in the NFL since 1991, at 31.1 yards.

Nabers finds himself in illustrious company. The LSU product averages more scrimmage yards in the final quarter than NFL greats Edgerrin James (30.7), Barry Sanders (29.7), Priest Holmes (29.2), and Tiki Barber (29), who round out the top five.

Nabers has produced for the Giants late in games, and his return from the torn ACL he suffered last season is critically important for New York’s offense in 2026. The Giants’ lone 1,000-yard receiver in 2024, Nabers will be expected to make plays next season while catching passes from quarterback Jaxson Dart.

At the rate he is going, Nabers has the chance to build a longer body of work as one of the NFL’s premier late-game performers.
