Bicycle Sundays in Westchester are back! The much-loved warm weather event returns this Sunday, May 3.
Bicycle Sundays, which have been a traditional favorite among locals since 1974, invite participants to take part in a traffic-free 13.1-mile loop on the Bronx River Parkway. According to the Westchester Parks Foundation website, the activity is open to more than 60,000 people each year, offering a unique space for residents and visitors to walk, bike, and jog.
The event has been funded by the Westchester Parks Foundation since 2012 and is extended because of the support of presenting sponsors Con Edison and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
