There was next to nothing positive to come for the latest New York Jets loss.
Against the New England Patriots (13-3) at home, the Jets (3-13) were thrashed in a 42-10 final.
If we can find one good note for New York in that one, it was Breece Hall. The Jets running back surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing plateau for the first time in his career and added a late touchdown.
Even Hall felt the reality of the situation, though.
“It’s cool, sucks that it had to happen in a loss,” Hall said.
Hall’s teammates were more upbeat for him, at least.
“He’s an extremely talented back, and he deserves it,” center Josh Myers told the New York Post. “Really happy we were able to get that done for him.”
