Westchester residents dreaming of summer will soon be able to dig their toes into the sand at local beaches as the county gears up for the 2025 season.
The county has announced schedules, hours of operation, parking fees and more for summer. Read on for everything you need to know about Westchester beaches.
When do Westchester beaches open for summer 2025?
Beaches will open for pre-season and summer season starting May 24. See info below on Croton Point, Glen Island and Playland beaches.
What time are Westchester County beaches open until?
Park beaches will open 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with no one admitted after 6 p.m., according to the Westchester County website.
How much are the fees for Westchester County beaches?
Beach fees are $4 for a pass holder and for a pass holder’s guest, $3 for a pass holder’s children (ages 3 to 11). Ages 2 and under are admitted for free. With park passes, senior citizens and people with a disability pay $3.
The fee is $10 for people with no park pass and their guests who don’t have a pass. Children ages 3 to 11 of someone who doesn’t have a pass pay $5, with ages 2 and under admitted for free.
