The death toll has reached at least 90 people in the flooding that inundated parts of central Texas.
The flooding hit the region during the first week of July. At least 27 children and counselors from Camp Mystic, an all-girls summer camp, died as a result of the flooding, while at least 10 girls and one counselor remained missing, Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha told reporters.

New Yorkers can donate to these groups helping Texas flood relief efforts
The Salvation Army’s website said it’s providing emergency aid, food, drinks, and other care as well as relief supplies to survivors and rescue workers. The Salvation Army said people can donate to its relief efforts through its website, give.helpsalvationarmy.org.
GoFundMe, the crowdfunding site, is maintaining a listing of what it said are verified fundraisers for families, businesses and individuals affected by the flooding. The page will be updated as fundraisers are verified, according to GoFundMe, USA TODAY reported.
The Red Cross has shelters and reunification centers in the Kerr County region. Information on how to help is at the Red Cross’s website.
World Central Kitchen, the nonprofit founded by chef José Andrés, has set up in Texas. The organization’s website allows for people to donate to help serve fresh meals to Texas communities in need.
