Bluey is coming to the Utica Zoo this weekend

Get ready to have a tail-wagging adventure with Bluey at the Utica Zoo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on August 1.

Bluey is the star of an Australian cartoon series that’s taken pre-school America by storm. She’s a six-year old blue heeler who lives with her parents, Bandit and Chili, and her little sister Bingo.

The cartoon follows her adventures and this Saturday Blluey will experience a Big Zoo Adventure at the Utica Zoo. Bluey will be happy to meet fans, pose for photos and, as the zoo put it, “spread joy.”

Activities planned during Bluey’s visit

Zoo staff have also made sure visitors will have a doggone good time by lining up family-friendly activities to celebrate Bluey’s visit, including:

The activities are free with the price of a zoo admission except for the pass-the-parcel game.

Although Bluey Day activities end at 3 p.m., the zoo will remain open until 4:30 p.m.
