With the exception of a few Presidents’ Day matinees, the regular season wrapped up for most teams over the weekend. There were several notable achievements, including milestones reached and the breaking of a longstanding record. With that, we’ve got 11 candidates for Girls Basketball Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital.
Our previous poll winners this season were Abby Nadborny (Scarsdale), Maria Ribeiro (Hen Hud), Jade Jackson (White Plains), Phoebe Greto (Rye), Riley Waters (Lakeland), Peyton Forde (Harvey School), Elyse Smith (Hen Hud), Eliana Contreras (Somers) and Reese Carlo (Kennedy Catholic).
Read below about what the nominees accomplished last week, then cast your votes. The poll will be open until 3 p.m. Wednesday and the winner will be featured on lohud sports social media accounts.
