Rochester will be welcoming back Chris Botti as he is set to headline at the Rochester Jazz Festival on June 25.
Botti is a Grammy-winning trumpeter who has collaborated with several superstars including Sting, Paul Simon, Barbra Streisand, Lady Gaga, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin and many others.
He has earned multiple gold and platinum records, performed with symphony orchestras and on stages such as Carnegie Hall, Hollywood Bowl and the Sydney Opera House.
Tickets go on sale Dec. 19 for Kodak Hall concert
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m.
This will be Botti’s sixth time performing at the Rochester Jazz Festival, with his last appearance being in 2022. The concert will take place in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre at 8 p.m. June 25.
Festival runs June 19-27 with 174 Club Pass shows
The 23rd edition festival will run from June 19 through June 27 featuring headliners, 174 Club Pass shows, more than 100 free shows, jazz workshops and nightly jam sessions at 18 venues in downtown Rochester.
So far 23 Club Pass artists have been announced with more being announced in January. The full lineup for the festival will be released by March 10.
