In Westchester County, Trader Joe’s already operates four stores where the seasonal bags are expected to be available:

A fifth location is also planned for Yonkers.

What’s in the new tote collection

The seasonal “Trader Joe’s Summer Fun Mini Insulated Totes” come in bright summer colors, including green, blue, orange, red, purple and pink, according to the USA Today Network’s New York Connect Team.

Two designs feature stripes, while four are solid colors.

When they go on sale

Trader Joe’s spokeswoman Nakia Rohde confirmed the bags will launch Wednesday, May 20.

The insulated mini totes will be available nationwide in stores, but quantities will be limited because they are a seasonal item.

What the bags cost and how they’re made

Each tote will cost $3.99.

They measure 10 inches by 6 inches by 6 inches, hold about 1.5 gallons, and include a zippered top and reinforced handles.

Not Trader Joe’s first mini tote trend

Trader Joe’s has previously released similar insulated mini totes, which the company has described as a stylish way to carry chilled foods and drinks to the beach, pool or picnic.

They can also be used as lunch bags or for snacks on the go.

How many Trader Joe’s stores are in New York

There are 38 Trader Joe’s locations across New York state, according to the company.

Shoppers can use the company’s store locator to find the nearest location.
