For the 12th year, Tops Friendly Markets will offer military members 11% off their total grocery purchases on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
Customers will need to show proof that they or their immediate family members living in the same household are veterans or active-duty, reserve or retired military personnel.
“Since the campaign’s inception in 2014, we’re proud to have helped save our veterans over $1 million,” said Ron Ferri, president of Tops.
In addition, through Nov. 15, select Tops stores will be selling 4-by-6-foot U.S. flags with a portion of sales proceeds going to Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight.
Headquartered in Williamsville, Erie County, the grocery store chain has 152 locations throughout New York (including 18 in Rochester region), Pennsylvania and Vermont.
