Report: Brian Callahan drawing interest from Giants for vacant OC role

Former Tennessee Titans coach Brian Callahan is under consideration for the New York Giants’ vacant offensive coordinator position.

The Titans hired Callahan for his first career head coaching job in 2024, where he spent two seasons with the team. Tennessee fired the 41-year-old after leading the Titans to a 1-5 record through their first six games of the year.

Before his time with the Titans, the 41-year-old served as offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals (2019-2023). Callahan began his coaching career in the NFL with the Denver Broncos (2010-15) before coaching on the Detroit Lions (2016-17) as well as the Las Vegas Raiders (2018).

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that Callahan is now a candidate to serve under Giants coach John Harbaugh in New York.

The Giants are in search of a new offensive coordinator following the hiring of Harbaugh as head coach. Todd Monken was initially considered a shoo-in, but he opted to take the head coaching job in Cleveland.
