The Ontario County Arts Council is inviting the community to Hats Off to the Arts, an afternoon celebrating creativity, imagination and the power of the arts — and of course, hats.
The event showcases a collection of fantastical hats created by local artists from 1 to 4 p.m. May 2 at the Cobblestone Arts Center, 1622 state Route 332, Farmington.
Guests will enjoy a lively parade of these imaginative creations, along with a special hat-themed performance by the Players of Ontario County Arts, music by the Orleans County String Band, refreshments, raffle baskets and a chance to bid on their favorite hats.
Guests also can sip wine and enjoy refreshments.
Hats Off to the Arts is also a fundraiser supporting the Ontario County Arts Council, which helps to nurture local artists and provide opportunities for emerging creative talent.
Tickets are $25, with all proceeds helping fund Arts Council programs.
