NFL news: 2 massive trades go down that affect Bills' 2026 schedule

The start of June on the NFL offseason schedule can see more roster action in the league each offseason… 2026 did not disappoint.

The Buffalo Bills were not involved in that action, but they were affected by two blockbuster trades that went down.

The Los Angeles Rams are on Buffalo’s schedule in Week 5 of the upcoming season. Naturally, two AFC matchups with the New England Patriots will again take place next year in Weeks 4 and 13.

Regarding those Bills’ foes, both of them agreed to huge trades on Monday which saw both land the “big fish” in the deal.

First, the Rams agreed to a trade with the Cleveland Browns which landed them football’s best pass rusher, Myles Garrett:

Adding double trouble was the Patriots. Long rumored and finally happening is the trade acquisition of Pro Bowl and Super Bowl champion receiver AJ Brown in a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles… which was also on Monday:

There were fans clamoring in Buffalo hoping the Bills could land either Garrett or Brown in a trade themselves, but the Bills were never strongly connected. Regardless, in 2026 the Bills will have to deal with both on the opposing sideline.
