New York Where does Giants' offensive line rank among NFL's 32 teams?

The New York Giants’ offensive line earned a 20th-place ranking in Sharp Football Analysis’ 2026 preseason positional unit rankings, a modest position that reflects both recent progress and lingering questions about consistency.

After more than a decade of significant struggles, the unit turned a corner in 2025, showing marked improvement in protection and run support. That momentum carries into 2026, bolstered by key veterans and promising young talent.

The key for this unit is left tackle Andrew Thomas staying healthy. He played 13 games in 2025 and finished eighth among tackles in pass-block win rate.

Thomas has focused on evolving his game, emphasizing greater physical strength, more detailed set positioning, film study of rushers, and leadership among younger linemen.

Competition remains fierce, particularly at left guard, where veteran Jon Runyan Jr. faces challenges from newcomers like Daniel Faalele. First-round draft pick Francis Mauigoa, noted for his impressive athleticism and wide-bodied presence, is poised to contribute immediately at right guard.

While the 20th ranking indicates room for growth, continued health and development could push the Giants’ line higher and provide stronger support for quarterback Jaxson Dart.
