The New York Giants will hold a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins before Week 2 of the NFL preseason in August.
The Giants will be on the road to face the Dolphins during Week 2 of the preseason on August 22. New York and Miami will hold at least one joint practice before the contest, as Dolphins’ head coach Jeff Hafley revealed the news earlier this week.
The practice will prove to be beneficial for both teams, but the Giants will get an excellent glimpse at their 2026 rookie class during both practice and throughout the preseason as a whole.
The Giants will also reportedly hold a joint practice with the New York Jets ahead of their Week 3 preseason game.
The Giants held two joint practices with the New York Jets before the 2025 campaign last year. Coach John Harbaugh will enter his first training camp as the Giants’ head coach this summer, and the joint practices with the Dolphins and Jets should give him an excellent idea as to where the team stands as a whole.
New York will open the preseason on August 15 against the Minnesota Vikings, followed by the two matchups against the Dolphins and Jets.
