The New York Giants released four players on Thursday.
The team officially announced that defensive lineman Elijah Chatman, linebacker Swayze Bozeman, wide receiver Courtney Jackson, and defensive lineman Marlon Tuipulotu have been cut. The moves follow a wave of free-agent signings by the team.
The Giants added veteran defensive tackles D.J. Reader and Shelby Harris to help replace Dexter Lawrence on the interior line after the 2026 NFL draft. Reader and Harris were two of four defensive linemen added by New York following the draft, along with Zacch Pickens (off waivers) and Leki Fotu.
Chatman played for the Giants from 2024 through 2025, appearing in 22 games with three starts. The SMU product recorded one sack and two tackles for loss during his time with the team. The Giants signed Bozeman before the start of the 2025 season, and he recorded six total tackles that year.
Jackson and Tuipulotu were both signed to futures contracts for the 2026 season before being released.
