The New York Giants’ future has been on hold for the past decade or so as they searched for their next franchise quarterback.
That search looks to be over after rookie Jaxson Dart took over the team by storm this season. The 25th overall selection out of Ole Miss not only produced and took over the leadership reins, but he also did it with panache.
Here’s a quick rundown of Dart’s achievements this year, courtesy of the Giants:
Dart also had 2,740 total yards from scrimmage and a 74.3 percent adjusted completion rate in just 12 starts this season.

Dart also made NFL history as a rookie quarterback and did it in just 12 games.
That’s star quality-level stuff. The Giants are right to be feeling good about their future.
