The New York Giants took the field on Wednesday for their first of three practices ahead of a Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, this Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
Beforehand, head coach Brian Daboll updated the status of several injured players, including kicker Graham Gano, who suffered a groin injury during pre-game warmups last Sunday. He said Gano would not be available on Sunday against the Chargers.
“Graham won’t be ready this week,” he said.
In addition to Gano, Daboll said wide receiver Malik Nabers and running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. would not participate in practice. Tracy is expected to miss 2-4 weeks with a separated shoulder.
“These are the players that will not practice: Malik, Theo, Nacho, Tracy, and Graham,” he said.
