The Brooklyn Nets recently found out what their entire schedule for the 2026-27 NBA season will be and that means that the upcoming season is getting closer with each day. Brooklyn will be looking to have a better season than they did last year, but in the anticipation of the upcoming campaign, the Nets used two of the youngest players on the team to promote the schedule.
In a video posted on Brooklyn’s X social media account, the Nets used guards Egor Demin and Mikel Brown Jr. as part of the unveiling of the schedule for the entire season. In the caption, Brooklyn wrote that they took Demin and Brown to “NBA Twitter School” which essentially appears to be someone coaching them on recent trends related to NBA social media discourse.
While Demin and Brown are being shown various memes that are popular among NBA fans, the screen is showing each of the 29 teams that the Nets will be playing and when those matchups will be happening. One of the interesting moments in the video was that Demin and Brown referred to their partnership as the “aura bros” so that will be something cool for Nets fans to see over the course of next season.
Unfortunately for Nets fans that are tired of seeing their team losing games, Brooklyn is expected to be one of the worst teams in the league next season, but anything can happen. However, it seems that the NBA is taking notice of the Nets still going through their rebuild as they only have two games out of 80 that will be broadcasted on national television.
Demin and Brown will likely be the starting backcourt for head coach Jordi Fernandez next season and they will be relying on Michael Porter Jr., Julius Randle, and Day’Ron Sharpe to help them get their footing in the NBA. Regardless of what next season holds for the Nets in terms of wins and losses, Brooklyn is still looking towards next season with excitement and anticipation.
