The Buffalo Bills have what it takes to win the Super Bowl next season.
However, the Bills are not the only team that are serious contenders this year. Other teams such as the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots made major moves in the open market that make them strong contenders as well. The Bills have over half a dozen teams that are seriously equipped to make their road to the Vince Lombardi Trophy a real challenge next season.
NFL.com ranked the Bills No. 5 overall in his NFL power rankings prior to the start of the preseason.
“The Bills return their most important players offensively, have the same offensive director with Joe Brady’s promotion to the top job and will open their shiny new stadium with the same Super Bowl ambitions that have existed perennially in Buffalo throughout the 2020s,” Shook said. “While I have some minor questions regarding the defense, this team still revolves around Josh Allen and James Cook. The Bills will find themselves in the hunt for the AFC crown once again in 2026.”
The Bills added DJ Moore in the open market this offseason, giving their receiving corp more punch for next season. Ultimately, Buffalo has ample talent on offense and defense that will help them win games throughout the year and clinch a playoff berth.
The playoff picture in the AFC will likely include the Denver Broncos, Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs being their biggest threats to reach the Super Bowl next season. Nevertheless, the Bills are a formidable threat to win it all themselves, especially with their talent at the top of their pecking order.
