A Rochester man has died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash Friday afternoon in the town of Canandaigua, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday.
Raymond Brown, 67, was flown by Mercy Flight helicopter to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester where he died from injuries suffered in the single-vehicle crash, sheriff’s deputies said.
Brown was riding on Buffalo Street Extension in the town of Canandaigua when the crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 17, sheriff’s deputies said.
Investigation ongoing
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
A portion of Buffalo Street Extension was closed while deputies investigated the scene but has since reopened.
