Motorcyclist killed in Brighton crash identified

Monroe County sheriff’s deputies have identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash on Interstate 590 in Brighton over the weekend.

The crash, which involved a single motorcycle and rider, occurred Saturday, Sept. 20 when the northbound motorcycle struck a guide rail near Monroe Avenue, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Jerry W. May Jr., 28, of Rochester died in the crash

“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased during this difficult time for them,” said sheriff’s spokesman David Marcucci.
