A 17-year-old girl who disappeared after leaving for a walk in Orleans County nearly a week ago is being sought by police.
The Albion Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Alexandria M. Ledger, who was last seen Monday, July 27.
Last seen in Albion
Police said Ledger was last seen around 6 p.m. in the Lydun Drive Extension area of Albion after leaving to go for a walk with a friend. She did not return home later that evening.
Authorities said her Snapchat location indicated she was in the area of Lockport-Olcott Road in the Niagara County town of Newfane on Tuesday, July 28.
Her family has not been able to contact her since July 27, according to police.

She may have been wearing a light purple hoodie and black shorts when she was last seen.

Anyone with information about Ledger’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Albion Police Department at 585-589-5527 or call 911 if there is an emergency. Police said even the smallest piece of information could help locate her safely.
