Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever (19-11) had their five-game winning streak snapped on Sunday afternoon when they fell 108-100 to the league-leading Minnesota Lynx (25-6) at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In the loss, Clark recorded her seventh double-double of the season: 19 points on 8 of 18 shooting from the floor, 2 of 9 from 3-point land and 1 of 1 at the free-throw line. She added 10 assists, one rebound and one steal in 34 minutes of play.
Kelsey Mitchell finished with a game-high 37 points, but Minnesota’s high-octane offense kept tremendous pressure on the Fever throughout.
Indiana will have a few days off before returning to action on Thursday, Aug. 6 from Gainbridge Fieldhouse against the Las Vegas Aces.

Despite Indiana’s furious late fourth-quarter rally, the Fever’s five-game winning streak ended in Minneapolis against the league-leading Minnesota Lynx, who collected their 10th consecutive win.
