Update: Caitlin Clark is available and has been listed as a starter for Sunday’s contest
After making WNBA history with her fourth career triple-double in Friday night’s win over the Portland Fire, Caitlin Clark was upgraded to available on the Indiana Fever (19-10) game-day injury report ahead of a contest against the Minnesota Lynx (24-6).
On Saturday night’s day-before injury report, Clark (back) was listed as probable alongside forward Aliyah Boston (right lower leg). Boston is also listed as available in the game-day report. Meanwhile, backup center Damiris Dantas (Not With Team, left knee) did not travel with the Fever on their three-game road trip, so she will be out again today.
Clark finished tied for the team- and game-high in scoring on Friday with 26 points on 5 of 9 shooting from the floor, 2 of 5 from 3-point land and 14 of 17 at the free-throw line. With her 10 assists and 10 rebounds, Clark generated her fourth career triple-double, becoming the fastest player in WNBA history to four.
With the Fever on a five-game winning streak and the Lynx boasting the league’s best record, this could be a potential WNBA Finals preview.
Tipoff between the Fever and Lynx inside the Target Center in Minneapolis is scheduled for noon CT and will be televised on ABC.
