What is Mirabito Holdings Inc.?
Family-owned since 1927, Mirabito Holdings Inc. is based in Binghamton and owns and operates more than 110 Mirabito Convenience Stores across the Northeast, the vast majority of which are in upstate New York. It is new to the Rochester market. Like Quicklee’s, its stores sell fuel, food and drinks and grocery items.
In a statement, the company said it will continue to operate car washes at four of the former Quicklee’s stores it bought: Gates, Hamlin, Lyons and 2590 Culver Road, Irondequoit.
“Expanding into Western New York represents an exciting opportunity for Mirabito,” Marissa Sweeney, senior marketing director for Mirabito Holdings, Inc., said in the statement. “Our goal has always been to provide communities with reliable fuel, quality food offerings, and convenient shopping in stores that are welcoming and well-maintained. We look forward to bringing the Mirabito experience to these communities.”
