Two tractor trailers carrying garbage rolled over Monday, June 1, after a crash on I-84 at the interchange with 1-684 in the town of Southeast. Both drivers had non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident happened in the westbound lane on 84 but garbage and debris were observed on both sides of the highway. One lane was open in both directions as of 12:30 p.m.

According to New York State Police, the accident occurred at approximately 11:43 a.m. Monday when two tractor-trailers were involved in a motor vehicle collision near mile marker 68.4 on Interstate 84 in the Town of Southeast.
“At this time, reported injuries are non-life-threatening,” police said. As of 1:15 p.m., traffic remained passable via the shoulder.
Troopers were still on scene to clear debris Monday afternoon.
