Is snow expected this weekend in Binghamton? Here's the forecast

Some snow showers and colder temperatures are expected Jan. 16-18 in Binghamton.

National Weather Service Binghamton meteorologist Michael Murphy said that, while there is some snow in the forecast throughout the weekend, “nothing significant” is expected in the Binghamton area.

The afternoon shows no precipitation, with partly sunny skies and a high near 30 degrees.

A slight chance of snow showers moves in late in the evening, with a 30% chance of precipitation after 1 a.m. Otherwise, the forecast shows mostly cloudy skies and a low around 25 degrees.

Weather Jan. 17 in Binghamton

Scattered snow showers are expected throughout the day Jan. 17, with a 60% chance of precipitation, mainly after 1 p.m., with otherwise mostly cloudy skies and a high near 36 degrees.

The chance of precipitation decreases significantly in the evening, with a 30% chance of snow showers after 1 a.m., mostly cloudy skies and a low around 21 degrees.

Weather Jan. 18 in Binghamton

Jan. 18 shows no chance of precipitation. Partly sunny skies are in the forecast in the afternoon, with a high near 27 degrees.

The evening shows mostly cloudy skies with a low around 16 degrees.
