The Section V softball season has gotten off to a slow start due to a wet end of March and beginning to April.
While most teams are still waiting to dive into the bulk of their spring schedule, it’s not too early to look ahead to some key dates to know at the end of the season.
Gates Chili and Livonia high schools are set to host this year’s Section V softball championships to wrap up May, one of many important dates on the calendar this spring.
Teams fortunate enough to advance to states will again travel to Binghamton’s Greenlight Networks Grand Slam Park, host of the NYSPHSAA championships for the second straight year.
