Hundreds of NY track athletes claimed PRs at Quinney meet

Sidney High School hosted the 10th annual Douglas I. Quinney Invitational, where the top New York State high school track athletes competed for their last chance at regular-season “practice” before conference championships and the postseason.

Of the 27 teams competing, Section 4’s Oneonta, which dominated in both the girls’ (91.50 pts) and boys’ (111 pts) events in last year’s competition, and Section 3’s Sauquoit Valley placed first and second in the girls’ team scores with 90 and 60 points, respectively. Chenango Valley finished third with 57 points.
