Free classic movie nights return to Perry this summer

A variety of movies are being shown for free during the Arts Council for Wyoming County’s Classic Film Series.

The films begin at 7 p.m. Thursdays at the council, 31 S. Main St., Perry, Wyoming County. The schedule so far is:June 27: “Merrily We Live” (1938), starring Patsy Kelly

July 2: “To Catch a Thief” (1955), starring Grace Kelly and Cary Grant

July 9: “The Maltese Falcon” (1941), starring Humphrey Bogart and Mary Astor

July 16: “Anatomy of Murder” (1959), starring Jimmy Stewart

July 23: “Grapes of Wrath” (1940), starring Henry Fonda

July 30: “The Train” (1964), starring Burt Lancaster
