Several firefighter units are at the scene of a three-alarm fire in South Salem Thursday, April 16.
According to police blotter audio, the fire developed around 12:50 p.m. at a residence on Old Shop Road, with several residents still reported to be inside the house. Smoke was seen billowing out of the roof and front door of the home.

By 1:15 p.m., a third alarm was transmitted as heavy fire continued to blaze through the residence.
One resident was reported with life-threatening injuries, and two others were rescued from the residence with injuries of unknown status.
As of 1:45 p.m., Lewisboro EMS responders on the scene were administering aid to victims and all residents were removed from the building.
Fire departments on the scene include Bedford Hills, Katonah and Goldens Bridge.
