The 2026 NFL regular season schedule was released on Thursday, and for fans of many teams, it took a while to digest.
The 272-game schedule will be covered by a multitude of providers that include four broadcast networks and eight streaming services. Games are also being played not only on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays but on Fridays, Saturdays, and Wednesdays this year.
For fans of the New York Giants, watching your team this year will be pretty straightforward. All you need to watch Big Blue this season is basic cable, open Sunday afternoons, and a barcalounger.
You won’t have to hunt for games or order new streaming packages to watch the Giants. 16 of their 17 games will be broadcast on the major networks (FOX, CBS, NBC, ESPN). The only exception is the November 12 Thursday night game at home against Washington. That will be covered by Amazon Prime.
After the Giants open up the season with two night games (Dallas at home on Sunday Night Football in Week 1, followed by a trip to Los Angeles to play the Rams the next Monday night), they play six straight games in the Sunday 1:00 p.m. window before the Thursday Night Football game against the Commanders.
After that, they play five of their next seven games in the 1:00 p.m. window. The only exception being the Week 14 game at Seattle (4:25 p.m.) and the Monday Night Football game in Detroit in Week 16. The final game of the year, against the Philadelphia Eagles at home, will be finalized later in the year. It could also end up being at 1:00 p.m., depending on its importance.
So, in closing, the Giants will play 11, maybe 12, of their 17 games this season in the early television window and just one on an exclusive streaming service.
For those who stream, you’re in luck as well. Outside of having an Amazon subscription, games can be found on Netflix, Peacock, Paramount Plus, ESPN+, NFL+, YouTube TV, Fubo, and Hulu+ Live TV.
