Cinematic safaris

As part of Utica Zoo’s Cinematic Safaris, there will be showing outdoor movie screenings in the middle of the zoo of two dinosaur movies. On May 15, Jurassic Park: Rebirth (2025) will be played. On May 16, The Land Before Time (1998) will be played.

Gates open for movie goers both days at 7 p.m. with movie starting times of approximately 8 p.m. While waiting for the movie to start, guests can peruse the dino merchandise in the gift shop or grab a bite to eat at Polly’s Concessions.

Movie viewings are ‘picnic style’, so guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.

Movie tickets should be booked in advance but will be available for sale at the door if not sold out yet. These movie showings are rain or shine. Movie tickets are $11 for adults (13 years +), $8 for children (2-12 years), and children under 2 years are free.

Members must pay regular movie ticket price.

Tickets can be purchased at the Utica Zoo website at the uticazoo.org
