Do you want your own personal school bus to help take on whatever comes your way?
The DCMO BOCES school district in Norwich is looking for someone to take two used school buses off its hands.
Both 2017 International Buses have seating that can fit up to 30 passengers, a six-cylinder diesel engine, rear wheel drive, automatic transmission, and air brakes.
Bids for the buses close on March 17 at 8:25 a.m.
As of March 10, bus number 63, with 90,701 miles, has three bids. The highest asking price is $1,271 and a 9% buyer fee.
As of March 10, bus number 64 with 107,278 miles has five bids. The highest asking price is $2,500 and a 9% buyer fee.
DCMO BOCES has six vehicles overall listed for auction on the Municibid website.
What is Municibid?
Municibid was founded by councilman Greg Berry from Pottstown, Pennsylvania, in 2006 when he noticed the untapped potential within local governments and school equipment such as vehicles. Twenty years later, Municibid serves over 5,000 governments and school districts across the U.S. auctioning off a surplus of heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, fire trucks and more.
Where does the money go?
All of the proceeds made from the auctions go directly to the DCMO BOCES school district to fund school programs, academic needs and other district expenses.
