The Buffalo Bills continued their defensive back overhaul Friday.
Buffalo released cornerback Dane Jackson, the third defensive back the team parted with in one day.

Earlier Friday, the Bills also released nickel cornerback Taron Johnson and safety Taylor Rapp ahead of the start of NFL free agency.
Jackson, 29, was originally selected by the Bills in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of Pittsburgh and spent four seasons with the team before a brief stint with the Carolina Panthers in 2024.
He returned to Buffalo in 2025, appearing in three regular-season games and two playoff games after spending much of the season on the practice squad.
Across six NFL seasons, Jackson has recorded 178 tackles, 30 pass breakups and three interceptions.

Safeties Jordan Poyer, Damar Hamlin and Darnell Savage and cornerbacks Tre’Davious White and Cam Lewis are all unrestricted free agents.
