OCSO: crash investigation update

According to OCSO, the box truck was traveling west on Route 5&20 when it collided with the SUV, which was headed north on Hickox Road. The investigation found that Stills failed to stop at a red light on Route 5&20, causing the truck to enter the path of the SUV.

The impact caused Still’s box truck to hit and become entangled with a utility pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

OCSO stated that there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office at 1-800-394-4560.
