Runners in both the 15k and 5k Boilermaker Road races on Sunday, July 13 will compete amongst a full field.
“We are thrilled to announce that three of our signature events on Boilermaker Weekend have sold out,” Boilermaker President Mark Donovan in a statement. “The 15K, 5K and the Utica National Kids Run are completely full with over 16,500 participants registered.
“For anyone wishing to participate in the Boilermaker experience, there are under 200 hundred spots available for the Boilermaker Walk.”
The walk will take place at 11 a.m. on July 12.
Bib transfers are allowed, but they must be done at the Solutions Desk at the Boilermaker Health and Wellness Expo with both parties present or with one readily available to speak on the phone to a race representative. Drop-downs from the 15k to the 5k are possible, but only 140 drop-down spots are available and they must be requested at the Solutions Desk.
The Expo will take place on the Utica campus of Mohawk Valley Community College from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 11 and from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 12.
