Biggest free festival in the Finger Lakes is returning in 2025: Dates, events and more

Lima Crossroads Festival, known as the largest free festival in the Finger Lakes, returns for the 2025 season.

The four-day festival will run from July 31 to August 3 on West Main Street in Lima, Livingston County.

Lima Crossroads Festival: music, vendors and more

According to the Lima Crossroads Council, this family-friendly event will include more than 50 exhibitors and vendors of every kind, games, petting zoos, puppet shows, food and more. The event will kick off on Thursday, July 31, with a Town Wide Parade 6 p.m.

Festival contests will include the 40th annual Bed Race on Aug. 2, the Lima 5k on Aug. 2 and the BBQ cook-off on Aug. 3. Registration for the 5k is still open and is selling for $32.80, but prices will increase after July 26. To register for the 5k, visit https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Lima/LimaBean5K.

Check-in for the BBQ Rib Fest Competition will begin at 7 a.m. on Aug. 2 and awards will be given out around 4 p.m. Registration is open for both contestants and judges of the competition. The contestant application is $55, and the judge application is $30.

Vendor applications

The Lima Crossroads Council is still accepting vendor applications for the upcoming festival with a $10 late fee.

Ten foot by ten foot spots are available for $80 and one 10 foot by 20 foot lawn spot is still up for grabs for $160. Applications are asked to fill out the form found at https://limafest.org/vendors/.
