2026 NFL Draft: Highlights of Jets' sixth-round pick OG Anez Cooper

The New York Jets came into the 2026 NFL Draft looking to make improvements across the board and one of those additions was taking Miami offensive guard Anez Cooper with the 188th (sixth round) overall pick. While New York has addressed the offensive line in recent years with players like left tackle Olu Fashanu and right tackle Armand Membou, Cooper could be a solid addition to the unit.

“Cooper’s strong, wide body gives him the power to move defenders, though he can have trouble sustaining his blocks. Sometimes those issues arise from initiating contact with his shoulder instead of his hands,” Scouts Inc. wrote in part of their scouting report on Cooper. With the Jets aiming to protect whichever quarterback takes the field in the 2026 season, here are some of Cooper’s highlights:
