NBA Summer League action continues in Las Vegas, where former Iowa basketball standouts Bennett Stirtz, Payton Sandfort, and Josh Dix will play in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s third game in Sin City tonight.
While the Thunder lost their second matchup from Las Vegas on Sunday night to the Golden State Warriors by a score of 104-79, Bennett Stirtz once again led the team in scoring with 13 points on 5 of 10 shooting, including 1 of 4 from 3-point range, and 1 of 1 at the free-throw line, to pair with two assists in just under 26 minutes.
Sandfort added 11 points on 5 of 9 shooting and 1 of 4 from deep, while Dix contributed five points on 2 of 7 shooting from the floor and 1 of 3 from long range.

The opponent tonight for the trio of former Hawkeyes and the Thunder will be the Denver Nuggets, who are coming off a 101-82 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night.
